Abundant Mindset, do you have it?

Many of us fool ourselves into thinking that we have an abundant mindset. Then occasionally some old beliefs may show up in your business that are leaning more towards lack thinking.

This mindset can sabotage your business success and as we approach a New Year, let’s also adopt some new ways of thinking.

I’ve created a mini quiz to get you thinking about where your mindset is focused on, lack or abundance?

Answer honestly so that you can be aware of how your mindset and deep rooted beliefs could be affecting the energy of your business.

Question 1

When you lose a client, how do you react?

Freak out and quickly assume that all your current clients will exit quickly too
Breathe a sigh of relief as they were high maintenance to begin with
Take it in stride, keep the relationship open and know in your soul that the universe just created space for a new client, most likely a higher paying one

Question 2

What is your thinking when you notice that you only have 5 strategy sessions booked for the month?

You tell yourself that something must be wrong with you as you’re not “in demand” like your competition
Realize that it’s only Monday and that you can still make up for lost time and book more calls
Tell yourself that you will most likely close all 5 calls as you only attract the very best and you are aligned to the universe

Question 3

You look through your website, social media posts, and Facebook ads and realize that your message looks like everyone else, how do you react?

Feel like an absolute fraud and start to delete your posts and blog shares while wondering why you bothered to get into the coaching industry
Take it as a sign from the universe to change your marketing to reflect your own unique self and decide to be more brave by showing your true self
Realize in your soul that there isn’t any such thing as competition as you are only one make and model on this planet.

How did you do?

If you had all 1’s then sit tight, we have some shifting to do.

If you had all 2’s then you’re close, but you’re not quite playing full out in to the land of abundance quite yet.

If you had all 3’s, then my dear you are killing it! Great work! You are fully bathing in abundance!

So let’s get some stats under our belt.

First and foremost, there are over 7 billion people on this planet, so I’m pretty sure there is enough to go around.

Secondly… even though not all have access to Wi-Fi or need your services, we are still in the land of abundance.

Statistics show that about 5% of the planet will like you. In other words, have professional chemistry with you. They will like your ads, your products, your services.

Let’s do the math on that… 5% of 7 billion is 350 million and if we let lack thinking take over and go down to just 1% of 7 billion, that’s 70 million, that’s a lot of people that may do business with you.

So why are you thinking in lack again?

Let’s go even deeper… how many clients can you actually help at one time?

I personally like to do a mix of group coaching courses and private VIP clients that get my undivided attention and support.

Although our industry seems to frown upon private coaching as we say it isn’t scalable, I like to have on average 10 private clients.

I love working in their business with them side by side and I selfishly get to experience their results up close and personal more than in a group coaching course.

So realistically, If I’m only able to help a handful and the coach next to me has a similar work load, why are we losing sleep over trying to help 70 million clients?

I’ve noticed that when a client doesn’t renew my services, another one comes in their place almost simultaneously. Coincidence or is it abundant thinking?
