Balancing your Wellness Wheel
Balance . What does that mean exactly? You hear so many people describe that their life is out of balance or that they need more work/life balance.
I was encouraged a few years ago to read the book Well Being, The five essential elements by Tom Rath and Jim Harter. It also included a test and my eyes were opened to the areas that I really was on empty. I was shocked to find so much dissatisfaction in certain areas. One of them was lack of community involvement which isnt surprising. I dont have a lot in common with the casino industry of Las Vegas but I still can become active at a more local level, with my daughters school, our church and other mom groups. So Im working on filling that social gap
. Also doing a lot more networking this summer. Its time to reconnect and hunt for kindred spirits no matter where you live.
Ive created a balance wheel presentation to help explain the 6 areas that are so important in your life to create a smoother, more balanced abundant life! I encourage you to take an assessment similar to what I took as well to see where youre running on empty. This could be the cause of your unhappiness or feeling like something is missing in your life.
As your coach, I always have you take this test first so I know what areas of wellness need to be corrected first
you will find that when all areas of your life feel FULL, you will be more satisfied. This isnt about having all the money in the world, its about feeling more complete. What happens when youre on empty in other parts of your life
it will actually start to ROB your other happier and full spaces

Social

* This dimension helps us to cope with the emotional challenges of life
Occupational
* Skills, finances, balance, satisfaction
* This dimension involves finding fulfillment in your job and knowing that it has meaning.
* It is also the ability to establish balance between work and leisure time
Intellectual
* Critical thinking, creativity, curiosity
* This is the dimension considers the desire to be a lifelong learner..
* Its the ability to be open to new experiences and ideas in order to continue growing
Physical
* Body, Nutrition, healthy habits
* This dimension considers overall health and what you need to do to maintain a healthy quality of life.
* It is the ability to take charge of your health by making conscious decisions to be healthy.
These 6 dimensions effect all areas of your life in a really big way! I can attest to it Ive had many clients that have shifted to FULL in all 6 areas so why would you want to wait to run on all 6 cyclinders??!
